Taxes are applied in Mandrel at the cost element level. A cost item (or task or line item in other parlance) can be made up of several different cost elements. Each of these elements can have different taxes applied to them.
Before you can apply a tax, you must define that tax and its rate. A Mandrel datafile can hold definitions of up to 15 different taxes. You can define some taxes to be cumulative on others.
